Do you know that more than 2 billion cups of coffee are consumed across the globe? People LOVE coffee!

I bet that you have already had a cup of coffee today or you are drinking one right now.

But I have some terrible news. Every day, there are perfectly good cups of coffee being wasted. I love coffee so much that if I witness someone dumping out their coffee because it’s cold – I feel like it is almost as bad as mortal sin.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know how to keep your coffee hot so you do not have to throw it away?

If you are like me, you like a HOT cup of coffee every morning (or maybe two or three depending on the day.) However, for some coffee drinkers like my wife, they take a sip or two, put it down, and forget about it.

    The Ultimate Coffee Waster

Believe it or not, my wife Kayla has a deep dark secret that only the ones closest to her know about. It’s a secret that haunts me.

Here it is… Kayla cannot seem to drink a cup of coffee in one sitting and normally lets it get cold and nasty.

Every day, she gets a cup of coffee, takes two sips, sets it down, and forgets about it. I then find a cold cup of coffee sitting by her desk, which ends up down the drain because no one enjoys a microwaved coffee.

The frustration I get from this being a connoisseur of coffee (coffee geek) is awful.

How to Keep Your Coffee HOT

After many years of my griping and our obsession with saving money, she has come up with a way to keep her coffee hot for as long as she wants – no microwave required.

In fact, this idea sparked us to create a video series called, “Quick FI Tips,” where we share a bunch of ways that we save and avoid spending money. (If you want to check out the video, I’ve put it below.)

Kayla discovered that she can repurpose a common wax warmer to continually heat her coffee. This is one Quick FI Tip that can save you money every day. Also, you may find that you are now considered to be the wisest person in your office.

Here’s an example of the wax warmer style we have available at Amazon.
